OK I NEED HELP WITH BSP!!!!!

ok i "removed" the BSP of Zanzibar with a program called "BSP Editor" in the UMP v4. I can LOAD the map, but when i am waiting to spawn, i only see blackness. It isnt the fact that i am not spawning, cuz i press the BACK button and nothing happens. i added about 20 machs to zanzibar, and am wondering if that could be the problem. I thought that if i only removed the BSP of zanzibar and never added a new BSP, the fact that 20 machs are somewhat close together wont lag/make the map fail to load.

How do you know it didn't freeze if the screen is just black?

i knew that it froze when i pressed the BACK button and the list of players didnt show up.

i didnt fix the player spawns.... could that cause it? i wasnt looking to play the map i was just seeing if what i had done so far had worked

i guess i'll fix the player spawns now

ok i adjusted the player spawns in the BSP viewer

i spawned and everything, but i couldnt move, shoot, crouch, throw grenades, scope, change weapons, and i could only see a zanzi wheel way off in the distance

i did remove the BSP tho and only saw a single wheel in the distance

but.... the wheel i saw was NOT spinning

can anyone help me out? i can upload and sppf file and post it in here so u guys could see it....

You are spawning out side the map editor, move your objects and player spawns way closer to where the original map was.
I've had that a couple times to.

yeah try to keep your player spawns inside the bsp

and if your gonna do something similar to my "stranded"
try to make it different
like wayy different
thats the last thing we need

That sounds like fun. I've done it before, just never released it. Most of mods are simple and basic. I can't wait till my first official one is done.
