Halo trial modding problem

I modded my map i used spark edit and i unsparkifyed it and i went to go play it and the screen minimizus halo and says "gathering exception data"
please help me!!!oh ya i got halo trial verson so...help anyone

What did you do in sparkedit, and did you edit your map w/ anything else, if so what'd you do there?

well i replace the banshees with a warthog and put somelogs in the air for a little mini base and io put rocks where the flag was and put a bunsh of snipers and frags in places and i used hmt but i change it all back (i hope) and i used sparkify one it and when i was done unsparkify on it.....

Hm.. Must've missed something with the HMT, i would suggest starting over with a fresh map, Once you get an exception you're pretty much screwed. Although i'm not entirely certain why you did. Just double check and make sure you def. unsparkified it, i've accidently hit spark. on it twice.

haha Your gonna wanna use HMT eventually, there is very little you can do without it. I take it your relatively new to modding?

yes i am...and now i cant open the maps in sparkedit....yes i did sparkify it...can u help me with modding

yea sure. Ok, so you can't even open the map in sparkedit? That's a new one.

Please say you backed up your maps? If so copy the b40.map, bloodgulch.map and bitmaps.map from there into your halotrial's maps folder.

well when i started over i just reinstalled halo trial and i am going to go back them up now to my desktop

yea do that first and foremost before you do anything else. Re-installing trial everytime you mess up sucks. What is it that you want to make?

hi ya i know how to mod and skin mod as in like change weps projetiles and stuff and i am learning how to make my own skins...yay...lol
