Ok if you know Please help me!!I want to add AI in bloodgulch where they can move and fire.i want to make the AI go to the center and to always respawn.Always!
Batch extract bloodgulch:
Extract BSP/MODEL
go to any campaign map
extract bipd actr and actv of an elite for example
decrap plasma rifle (or whatever weapon ur AI used)
rebuild-If you used marines/flood you have to delete the powerups folder.

Ok you helped me much but can you get more detailed instructions.i cant find the perfect tutorial.SORRY about that i ask you and you have to write more.I mean 1 . from where to recursive extract meta for plasma rifle.2 How to add the AI in the map . Finnaly 3 how to make them move,Because i saw the same tutorial but they tell the AI can't move.Please Give me as more as you can detailed instructions.Idk how to thank you .And i forgot its for Halo PC Full version.
1. make a new folder named whatever
2.inside make 4 new folders, BSP batch build and new stuff.
3. Batch Bloodgulch into the batch extract folder.
4. Extract BSP/Model Sections into BSP folder
5. Open a campaign map.
6. Extract elite's biped, actv and actr tags, extract to the new stuff folder.
7. Go to plasma rifle and extract it to new stuff folder.
8. Decrap the elite and Plasma Rifle model.
9. Copy SBSP.meta from BSP into build/levels/test/bloodgulch.
10. If you extracted a flood or marine instead of an elite, go into new stuff and delete the folder named Powerups.
11. Copy all the stuff from batch into build, THEN new stuff into build. Make sure you do it in that order.
12. Replace all files when it asks.
13. Copy and paste a clean bloodgulch map into the build folder.
14. Rebuild, select the clean map in the build folder select yes to fill in paths.
15. For new files, select all the files in the elite folder, and the plasma rifle.
16. When it asks about the new vertices and indices say yes, find them
17. Say yes to new offset list.
Rebuild Successful! yay we have the AI tags in the map, now:
1. Go into HHT, select the elite biped and under actv swap it for your elite actv.
2. under the elites actv tag select bipd and choose characters/elite, for actv select the actv and actr select it's actr tag.
3. Go down into any vehicle you want (if you PMI in a pelican, you can get a lot) and for every actv select the one you've used above.
4. Open the map in sparkedit, Select the vehicle(s) you just chose, and flip it/them upside down, and then all the AI will be in them.
To get them to respawn:
Select the vehicle in HMT, copy it's meta over a health pack, OS, active camo, gun or grenades,
flip whatever you chose upside down in sparkedit
Now when you start it will automatically respawn a little after the last has moved. So there could be a lot of AI at a time if you dont kill them fast enough.
Ok , ok i understand everything perfectly and i can rebuild mp map for 2 minutes and sp map for 3(without batch extracting).I cant understand only 1 : extract the elite and the plasma rifle.witch from them have to be recursively extracted?Do both of them have to been recursive extracted?
Yes you want to recursively extract the elite, and then recursively extract the plasma rifle. The reason is that when you add them in w/o decrapping the plasma rifle, the model looks like crap...wait a minute...it all makes sense to me now. lol.
Ok i do it but im stuck at the respawn steps.I think i do it but when i do it they are there they are falling from the ghosts , but when i kill them they dont respawn
I've replaced it long ago. When I had it up i had the Ghost spawn over health pack with a flood elite, a duped ghost over the overshield with a human flood and a another duped ghost over the camo with a reg. elite.
Explain what happens exactly, the AI drops out of the ghost, chases you and then nothing comes back?
My ones are just firing at me and throwing very accurated grenades they always struck on my head .No moving(only when i throw them grenade or start firing at them) , and of course no respawn
thats odd. very odd. Hmm, maybe cause mine were flood and...i see now hold up.
I did my mod with unarmed flood, and those two would chase me around b/c they had no weapon. I'm not sure how to get that effect with the elites, try tweaking with their hearing and seeing values in HMT. hopfully someone with some more AI knowledge then myself will see this and try to help you out more.
