Would this be considered cheating?

Would making a map be dark, by just taking the bitmaps and making them dark, and then making the player/weapons bitmaps really bright be considered cheating?

I decided to test it out, and I can pretty much see any player without having to look for them. It knocks out the whole point of hiding in the dark.


So is this considered cheating?

depends on how you use it rlly. if you give yourself a lot of advantages, it can be considered cheating just because of the unfair advantages you give yourself. its like xbl modding with super speed, jump, and auto aim.

it has adv and disadv... u can see ppl but u dont know thier terrain... they might be right beside a ditch or lower portion of ground, your driving ability succumbs, and numerous other examples...
for adv, i think its pretty obvious
