Failing to load most of the maps Help please!

Post by ΩOMEGAΩ »

ok, I downloaded a few mods and alot of them fail to load...

I downloaded Scarecrow for turf, and it fails to load (I patched it in either serenity or Super PPF).

I also downloaded Nightwinder, and I patched it on Super PPF, and it also fails to load.

another one I downloaded for Backwash (which is called "Underbrush") also fails to load.

I realize that these are all the new maps, but it also fails to load some of the old maps as well.

is there something I should be doing besides patching the files using serenity, and Super PPF?

anyone know how to fix any of these problems?

Thanks,
-Mark

Where are you transferring the maps? Also, are your shared maps clean and resigned?

what do you mean where am I placing them? XBOX or PC?

on my XBOX I put the old maps under E>Games>HALO 2>Maps (but like I said the old mod maps load fine, but I still have the "you failed to load the map" problem))

for new Maps I put the Maps where you normally get them as well E>TDATA>4D530064>$C>(map pack).

I always delete the original maps and then place the modded ones in under the original maps name.

When I store them on my PC I put them under a folder in my documents.

is that everything you wanted to know?

also what do you mean by clean and resign the maps?

Did you resign your maps with Encryptomatic Signature? Most modding problems sign maps.
The maximum signature size is 500x120px at 75kb.
