Direct3D and DXDIAG error help!!!!!!!

when ever i try and run Halo CE i get this wierd error... i have no idea what to do... i ran DXDIAG and i have my acccelerations on...
can someone write a quick tutorial or give me a link(download or post ect.)

please help me

I'd have this happen to me multiple times. Just reboot you're computer and it will work. That or your drivers may be out of date.

Also, make sure you have the latest patch downloaded and installed.

That's happened to me before, and I figured out what caused it but I can't remember what it is now... I know it had nothing to do with what it said (Direct3D) I think it was like there was another copy of halo open seconds before, or maybe I got an exception and tried to start it up right quick again... Just try starting halo again. If it gives you that error again, restart and that should work.

ok, well i know its not going to fix it by rebooting so ill go download my drivers.

no i have rebooted it before and it still happend but i downloaded my drivers and it works now
