Here's the dealio, I converted a single player map to multiplayer...Here's the best bit, using an old version of h2g/c. I'm not sure if it happens with the newer conversions, however what has happened is that certain sounds, mainly human weapon sounds have seemingly been eaten by an ogre.
I get it, an ogre isn't a good description, so here's an example: smg sounds are all sped up, magnum sounds create a delayed echo in the distance, as does the battle rifle. the other human weapons have similar problems.
After looking through various plugins, all different kinds of sound tags I can't find anything to change any sort of speed or reverb settings in the sound.
My next trick was to internalise the sound and inject original ones over...I thought I was a genius...but it didn't work.
My third and final trick for the night kiddies was to duplicate a sound from another map, rename and transfer to the current map...the sound still didn't work, regardless of the fact that it was a comepletly different sound tag. To no avail

So, I'm out of ideas, could anybody shed some light on the matter? I hope there is something other than "start over" as I don't believe that to be an option here.
