need help with photoshop

im new to photo shop and i was wondering... im trying to make a snow mongoose. for a map. i need to take the green mongoose skin and make it white.... how the fuck do i do that. i could maually do it but that would take forever and i knwo there is a way to do it just dont know how. so plz someone help me.

1. Make sure you only select the parts you want selected
2. Do Hue/Saturation (ctrl+u)
3. Lower the saturation all the way down
4. Do Brightness/Contrast (Image/Adjustments)
5. Contrast it so it will look white, but not too much, you still want to have some detail.

how do you make the quick selection tool less sensiteive. im trying to select all the green but its selecting the gray with it. i need to be more hard and not so soft on selection.

right click the lasso tool and make it the Polygonal lasso tool (the 2nd lasso tool)

i would but the banshee isnt even defualt on the map. the only defualt vehicels are the snow-hog and the snow-mongoose. you have to make a custom gametype to get ghosts tanks and banshees.
