Halo=They were a bit Scary

Tural, what I was talking about was the icon image for the Mauler. I'm probably wrong, but at first glance it appeared like one of the 'hidden' weapon icons in Halo 2.
Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about. It probably isn't the same though.

In some ways, by keeping it that way, its like Halo 2 and 1's style of the MC...Yet the way that they had him at e3 would have been a pretty kool look to show the generational transition...Even though it would totally out of place in comparison to everything else in the game...

I don't see it as plastic though, but it doesn't look like metal either...Obviously they have made a less shiny metal alloy in the future

I love that photo though

Yes, I am, here is a quote for you "...the armor consists of green ceramic outer plates with metallic inner plating.." Now I know from reading in several halo related books, manuals, ect, that the green part of the armor is a type of ceramic like the one I have shown. Probably denser and more useful, its 500 years from now and a fictional story. Under the armor is a rubber layer with a ballistics gel in the layers that hardens upon contact. My assumption is that the inner plating is titanium but I may be wrong with that.

Anyone feel free too correct me, I would rather be wrong and corrected then wrong and misleading others.

EDIT: CDK this isn't the kind of ceramic your gonna find in your pottery, this stuff can take .50 cal rounds and is also used in armoring vehicles. Plus like I said it would improve and it is a fictional story.

The scratches shown on the armor aren't characteristic of ceramic. They look quite metallic.
