why wont my plasma grenades last for a minute

ok, when i go to edit the plasma grenade in dot halo, i go to projectile, and then the plasma grenade and i changed the bounce distance before exploding to 10000 and teh min explosion delay and max to 10000, and the life span, why wont it last for that long, instead they last for the normal time, please help

sounds like a messed up plugin. I have done this before and it works fine. All you have to do is change the time before exploding.

just download a new proj plugin. They're all over. But that shouldn't be the problem. Try it on a different map.

lol what are you doing wrong? It has to be something stupid that like slaps you in the face.

EDIT: I've gotten them to last so long I turned a warthog over and plastered the under side to make it look like it had neon underbodies.

God I wish I were on my desktop right now. I'd walk you through it step y step. You should only have to change the explosion delay, and life span.

btw. That thunderstorm rolled through here last night. power keep going out. pissed me off so bad. I was having fun making beaver creek all flooded then boom! power goes out and my computer restarts.

you need to disable your auto update, that was one of the things bungie changed in their first update, they made the plasma not last so long and made it more powerful so no matter what you put it will be overridden by the AU

so just disable it and your good

Either Tdata mod (I'm not going into that) or install Yelo (It has a nice feature called "disable auto update" cheers!

ok, i knew i could use yelo but i was hoping i didnt need to use it, lol, how can i use the new maps like contamination and relic and stuff even with the autoupdate off, i dont have the newest ones, i cant get on xbox live with my modded xbox, but how can i still use those maps

Snave's mainmenu mod, which adds the new maps to the main menu. Be sure to include the new maps in the same folder as the old maps!
