i need help with my mod badly right now. i have major things wrong with it, and i have no clue why, not like i did anything to it. the mod is going to be for headlong, and its a grunt mod, and its to be a very hot day there, like paraiso. i have the heretic_grunt and the original.


defective things in my mod:

1. the scorpion freezes for some uknown reason when i press L, i have tried reinjecting meta, i forget other things i tried, but i do think it's the trigger in the weap tag. all i did to it was enable the four passenger seats

2. when i inject a model for the beam sword, the fp model isn't there. i already injected some other models, but the sword just won't work :( i have no clue what i did to do this i used entity 1.3.9

3. some shaders for some models are screwed up and i thought it was the stem or the reflection, but still no luck for it.

4. mip maps are a horror for me. as soon as i do a skin with mip maps and do it correctly, it just goes right back to the original after walking some distance away, i even checked the mip maps myself again, they were the changed one. so now i just null out the mip maps, although i want to stop it from being laggy, so it is a problem. what i do is i extract it with an up-to-date ch2r, edit it with adobe photoshop elements, save as a dds(1, 2/3, or 5) and click generate mip maps, even generated mip maps with a custom amount of mip maps generation!

5. i put a cigar on the heretic_grunt :P (no stealing ideas here) and the skin and effe won't show up. i attached by copying the default variation from the warthog's hlmt and adding it to the heretic_grunt's hlmt, then moved the model around till it was perfect. i used the head marker also. the scenery was from newmombassa, the cigar_good. remember the default variation chunks i copied to the grunts hlmt? it has the chaingun_turret vehi. in there, so i switched that with the cigar_good scen.

6. i can't move this one effect from the br on 3p mode, the effe is not at the end of the barrel, but on the end of where the original br used to be. i can't find out how to change it. i have editied the model for the br(battle rifle)

7. the trees i placed in the map have this glow to it when something that glows goes near it, which makes the game slower. i hate that, i want it to be lag-free.

8. when i shoot the heretic_grunt in the elbow, it freezes, sadly

9. i want this to be in the outstanding mods section, so i want to have this the best mod ever :lol:

i injected the grunts with insolence since entity would mess up the jmads BADLY

I would help, but I don't mod Halo2, are you making a movie for your mod?
