Halo question.. when did the spartan program start.

what year was the spartan program started? i mean as in when did fictionally it start acording too... i dont kno bungie or ghosts of onyx... just need a anwser so that the night shift story dosent conflict with the orignal halo story

It was sometime around 2517.

Also, in the first chapter of The Fall of Reach, it says 2535, which is when the Spartans are on that cliff and have the whole mass of grunts coming at them. So It couldn't be 2552.

thx. and actually im gonna put up the first part of the script too figure out if there any problems with it.

Narraration:" The year is 2456. Earth has become grossly over populated. The problem was eventually solved. The humans sent out a multitude Halcyon class ships to explore the depths of

space and search for a planet with a envirement that could support human life. "

"One ship named Phoenix, the brother ship to the POA discovered a planet later named alpha-centori. Its climate was nearly identical to earth and was a perfect planet to settle on."

" Immediately the humans began to build civilazations all over alpha-centori. Over the years it turned into a world completely populated by humans. Everything seemed to be going good.

That is... until the covenent attacked."

"The siege of the covenet began in the canyons that were the most heavily fortified by the marines. And if they made it passed our defenses they would begin the attack on the major citys

we had established. We could not let that happen. So we fought back"

spelling dosent matter to much since this is the narration. it will go over the opening cutscene. which happens to be around 2 minutes

and about hte star problem ill make anew name.
