ok....
1) which would be better to use with importing ai: HMT3 or HMT3.5
2) what do i do after i batch extract the actr and actv
3) how do i get them to stand, not drive a vehicle, but stand on the ground

im having probs with both
1) the only tut i found lost me on the map rebuild...the problem: what am i supposed to add in the additional files, if anything
2) every time i try to import a model...i even followed the tut exactly...it says 'raw vertices not found'...and i put in the vertices, indices, and bsp exactly as the tut said to.

this is annoying...i followed everything, and i get an exception error
batch extract the map.....
extract the elite actv.....
paste the elite actv in the map extract, and overwrite existing files(maybe thats the prob)....
rebuild the map....
in hht swap a vehicle thing with elite....
swap the elite with cyborg in HMT3....
then i get an exception error.....
what in there did i do wrong?

Two things,
you shouldnt have to re paste or paste anything, once you have extracted the actv and the actr files to your extracted map build folder, thats all the controls you need for a bot. If your re copying meta over meta you could be corrupting it cause when HMT extracts the target file to a folder it overwrites it anyway wihtout promting it did so or creating a flie that didnt exist there before. When you rebuild the map you have to make sure your adding them in the add section at the bottom field of HMT's map rebuild section <the actv.elite.meta and the actr.elite.meta for example>.
that will add to the map file the actor and the actor variant headers in your file meta list. If you want the models thats another story get your AI working first and grasp this concept before conqueirng that one. Cause till you have these files in and th emap will load, your still having an issue somehwere with the procedure.
That sums up the HMT part, when you get that all working and you can see you added your actr and your actv in the map when you open it in HHT you want to add that to your banshee for example, you would scroll dwon the middle listing till you got to vehicles, click on the banshee and on the far right screen well you would see the listing of the banshees' dependencies wich are all of its basic paramters from weapon firing to actor controlling it. you will see TWO entries in ths list for actv <the actor variant cause its somthing other than a null seat> you want the second instance of actv to add your bot too from th dependency swap section below this column. This will put that bot in the banshee and when you load it if you have done it all right youll load into bloodgulch and you should hear the engines of the banshee or see it flying around after you.
This applies to any vehicle you choose to put the actv in in, it sthe farthest down set of actv you can find, the first one is disabled for some reason and i have not yet found setting it for anything causes any result and i figure it has to do with some internal pointing to SP spawing devices and scritping agents wich are not enabled that i have seen anyone state in MP.
