Mods and windows vista.

I hope this is the right place to ask this, if not please move this.

Well, About 6 months ago I was making mods, skins, models ect. But, now when I try to use mods they do not work. Its just, they don't show up. Are there any solutions?

what are you doing???

like be more in-depth of how you are applying the mods???

you need to run the modding tools as an administrator

1. right click the halo modding tool
2. click run as administrator

I am just modifying halo maps using spark edit. And, ill try running as admin.

EDIT: Also, when I create a game no one can join. Is there a fix to this also?

your second problem isnt vistas problem...its your router/firewall

My router is set up to allow both ports and my firewall is off. It still does not work, yet it used to work back when I had XP.

Make sure that you don't have a MAC filter. Sometimes I get so fed up with all these firewall settings for my router and windows that I just disable em for the moment when I'm creating a (internet) server on halo.

man windows vista crap... lol it stuffs up ur computer and makes it slower when u got to upgrade.. i am on xp and i like xp

DUDE...STFU...Vista doesnt suck you guys...

OMG why do people thing Vista sucks...i mean yeah it has its problems...but its way better than xp...xp sucks compared to vista, Microsoft know what they are doing. Yeah vista doesnt work with some parts of vista...thats not vistas fault...its your computers system...you need to upgrade your system

I hate it when people say vista sucks...You suck. Vista going to be the OS everyone will have in a couple years...just get used to it. Vista is way better than XP. and you can say...im on a mac and microsoft sucks, think that if you want...but then why do you guys have bootcamp?

every os has its ups and downs... vista doesn't suck at all and neither does xp (not going to talk about mac because im not experienced in that area)
