Mainmenu

Post by xXxCocoFangxXx »

When I try to add all the Maps to my clean Mainmenu, or if I even patch it with a Mainmenu patch, it always show the maps twice, like I have 2 lists of all the new Maps. :/

Does anyone know why it's doing this, or may be able to help me?

Your seeing the maps that have been added with the patch, as well as the maps that are in the dlc folder; thus, double vision :P

Just rename $C to somerthin else.. or get an earlier update.. or just remove the update completely...

But if I rename my $C folder, I won't be able to play the new Maps when I coldboot my Xbox with the Halo 2 disc inside.

I didn't know the DLC Maps would even show since I added Halo 2 to my HDD, lol

If I disable the the Auto-Update on my default.xbe on the HDD, will that work?

EDIT: Ok, I disabled my AU on default.xbe that is on the HDD. But now Lockout is messed up, how do I go about fixing that?

1. patch a clean main menu with the extra maps.

2. copy the .maps from the c and u $ folders, to your pc

3. delete both c and u $ folders

4. Ftp the maps u copied in step 2 to the maps folder of h2 on ur hdd

If he deletes those folders, he won't be able to play unmodded ones when "I coldboot my Xbox with the Halo 2 disc inside"

Ya, plus I wouldn't be able to play Campaign either. :/

I thought I saw somewhere one here, that someone had a fix for Lockout, I dunno though.

Why wouldn't you be able to play campaign? I have played campaign with Yelo on(which disables the autoupdate).
There is a fix, I will edit my post when I find it(unless someone else finds it first).

EDIT: I found the tutorial for what I was looking for, however it's not what I thought it was. It just shows how to get rid of Lockout in the Killtrocity mappacks. Sorry
