Little Help Please

1. hey people im gonna start modding, if i were to take my xbox 360 offline and mod and then when i go online and put the unmodded maps back would i get banned when i go online ?????

2. also i was thinking of modding campaign could i do this using that program were you can search your hardrive i think its called 360xplorer or something

3. if i get banned on halo 2 will i get banned from any other games ??

also i was thinking of getting XSATA for the xbox 360 is that good???

***you cant mod maps on a 360 without burning a disc as i understand it and if you can do that i wouldnt recommend connecting to live cause it'll update your firmware and likely brick ur 360

thanks for the help but why would i get banned on other games ? i no you get banned from matchmaking but never heard of people getting banned from other games

Because your account gets banned, not the game you play.

that sucks i just wanted to play custom games ill guess i have to get another account then. also when i say any other games you do no im saying like i would not be able to go play gears of war if i got banned on halo 2.

Well, you can mod containment and the such by using the xsata. You'll get banned for this if you sign in through Halo2 though.

For campaign and other maps on the cd you would need to burn the whole game + your mod to a new dvd, and thus would need modded firmware to play it. But i really wouldn't try playing it (online or offline) as Microsoft are now somehow detecting 'backups' being played and banning the consoles they are played on.

hey if i get banned on halo 2 would i be able to go play gears of war or would i be banned from that too ? or would my xbox 360 be banned from xbox live all together?
