Having trouble with tool and my new map

I go to export my map as it says to do in the basic mapping tutorial and i get the fallowing in the command prompt.

i know what that is basically you have open egdges, or basically holes in your map you need too fill in all the holes in your map. import the .wrl file it will mark all the holes in your map and show you were they are the .wrl file is in your halo ce directory it will be called cliff cliff.wrl proballly.

I clicked import and found the file but what settings do i use and how exactly do i fix it?

un check everything when you import.

and too fix it find holes in the map or "open edges" and fix them by going too edit mesh > face editng mode > edit geometry > create and create new faces were the holes are so the map is a sealed envirement.

Its one of my bases and i cant tell where the wholes are b/c it dose not show me ......I cant figure it out i tried creating new faces but like ......Help I have no idea .......

edit- screwed up really bad with the new faces had to go back to the save that gave me the first errors like the ones i showed about ...... I have the exact map that gave me the original errors i posted ....Is there an easier way do do any of this ???

no dude makeing a map takes commitment i spent a total of 42 hours on one of my maps and its still only half way done. look for a tutorial on fixing the error im currently really busy or i would type a tutorial. sorry about that.

i had the same problem when i first made my fist map... which was a box with a box on one side a and a lopsided box on the other.. lol :roll:

Put on a cap hole modifier. Then check with stl check.

STL check says theres no errors. so what do i do? likedid that fix it ?

Are you sure you have nothing selected when you stl checked?

The only way to add the stl modifier is to have everything selected......i thought
