Sorry Shout, but Im talking to Xiion. Please don't tell me what I can or can not do unless I'm violating a halomods rule.
I was going to buy an Ibanez RG2EX1, but it seems I can get a 120 for cheaper and I like its tremolo.I was asking if it is worth it or not. I've tried out the RG2EX1 and few similar models and I love them a lot, but if I can get a decent one for less cash, that'd be great.
Now to stay on topic: The head-shot you took and post not on deviantart is my favorite.A little blurry though.
EDIT:
Its okay Shout, sorry for being a jerk about it. I was just curious how good of quality it was compared to the other Ibanez in its family.

im pretty sure your guitar is a pig nose, because Yamaha makes those as starter guitars and are very common to find.kornkidcrazy wrote:I dont know. I have a off-brand wanna be straocaster thing I got 4 years ago that was my starter electric guitar. I run it in a volume pedal, and whammy wah, and my favorite distortion pedal: the weapon (digitech) into 2 small studio amps. Its a small setup and my guitar is ***, but it gets the job done. Also, Xiion, how much do you like your RG120 and how would you describe it to another metal guitar, quality wise? Also, how good is the tremolo?
I dont like and i do like my tremelo...
its good because i can pull back on it and make like motorcycle sounds with it (which i've perfected,) but its bad because if you are drop tuning, it will be bent back all the way and lay on the guitar's body that way, until the strings are tightened. but that can always be fixed for about 400$ if you get a floyd rose...
the ibanez rg120 comes with an ibanez speedloader, very similar to the floyd rose speedloader, but the floyd rose speedloader has strign locks and has quick tune nobs on the tremelo, jsut like any other floyd rose would, but its meant for guitarists that dont want to make a custom cut in their guitars body to make it fit. all in all, if you do get one of them, get the 120, the EX1 may come in 2 of the sickest styles ive ever seen, but the pickups and tremelo are not worth the money, but a 120 comes with the speedloader, and infinite 3/4 pickups.
my bias: rg120, nice tone, parts dont fall off/ come apart like my fender did, and it looks nice.
i want to get a rg4exqm1, cos of its floyd rose. its a sexy guitar

shout, ill give him my opinion, but dont take my opinion for full, jacksons and ibanezs are the 2 choices ill give to any aspiring metal guitarist, but for beginners i'd recommend ibanez, or fender. fenders wont last you long, but an ibanez can. only if you care for it every week, like i do. i change my strings once a month to prevent from rust getting onto the fret board and destroying the fret bars as well as the neck.
Agreed, as a lover of photography, there is just no focal point. There is just no clean crips area of the photo. to be honest i think you over did it with the photoshoping.SHOUTrvb wrote:Way, way too blurry. I don't like how little you can see in the body shot either.

Not removing this 'till I get back. Leaving on [01/05/09]
the body shot was bad, but the angle and lighting in the original was perfect, ill see to taking some more pictures in a bit.Armed Civilian wrote:Agreed, as a lover of photography, there is just no focal point. practice makes perfect.
my favorite still shot picture can be found here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40077659/
although its really bright in most parts, and a bit too oversharpened, it is a very nice shot for my VERY first shot at photography.
