frag grenade fragmentation

frag grenade fragmentation

is there a way to make the fragment grenade actually fragment, like make it send thousands of bullets or something flying everywhere.

I thought of making it send lots of remodeled bloc's everywhere and editing the damage effect of them.

also if anyone has an Idea and would like to help out please pm me

well, instead of a bloc, use the needle proj, that's even better. second, use that tutorial somewhere around here of how to get things to come out after the gernade explodes. then make like 50 more things come out from it, change them to the needle proj, and i dont know how the heck to do this, but change the way they come out, make about 3 spots, and walla. its not easy, and you'll probably need help. well, good luck :lol:

There has to be a better easier way that doesn't make so much lag, but you could chainspawn projectiles through the frag grenade explosion, then add a model that represents shrapnel. Just pitching an idea.

I don't really need to see the projectiles I just need them to come out.
I'll look into the chain spawn

how many chunks can there be of the bloc in the battery explosion effect.

Edit: and I was thinking I should give the projectile, the ones that I'm swapping with the bloc, head shot ability.

but that IS what i said, proj will come out, and if you dont want to see them, null the mode and make the needles go faster. also null the contrail

if you null the phmo, ten the needle can't stick on you, therefore, mainly, nothing is coming out of the gernade

Alotta projectiles don't have a [hlmt] dependency but they still hurt you.

chainspawn the gernade, and make sure THAT works, then make a backup if it works. then try making the prj that came out from the gernade and make it needles.

I don't know much about H2, since I have never played it or edited it, but in Halo PC, making sniper bullets come out of the frags looked pretty cool, and they damaged the enemy when they hit.
