killtacular map pack 2 for xbox 360 help

hi i have a xbox 360 4.2b samsung drive(flashed)
i recently burnt the modded killtacular mappack to a DL DVD (the 1 with 47 maps in it) and it loads up fine but fails to load all the maps.i have the latest update from bungie for the 2 new maps .

is it because i have a too high update? if so how would i delete the update of my hdd.

On the disc did you add the shared.map file to the maps folder?

you need the xbox 360 modding tutorial, but i don't think i'm supposed to give that out, so, i can'thelp you there.

You need to go into your TDATA/4d530064 folder (I don't know where it is on the 360) and rename the $C and $u folders.

We're discussing disabling the auto update. Not hacking the 360 to make it work. If it is okay to talk about on the Xbox, it's okay for 360. It is the same procedure, just a different folder structure.
