I'm changing my reticle for my rocket launcher.

So , i open the dds. file in Photoshop ( i have the cs3 ) i change it the way i want then i save it but when i want to inject it , they say :

The texture you are trying to import is smaller than the existing data. HMT will automatically update the size speficied in the map file to match that of the image being injected.

Then i click ok and they say : image injected must be DXT2 or DXT3.


Can somebody tell me in which format i have to save my file and how i have to do it.


EDIT : Forget it , i found how to do it. Mod , you can lokc this now.

Use the 8888 32 bit format(it's what i use) and yes it's a type of DDS format.

Also I believe you need to save it as this format for editing any parts of the HUD, including reticules.
