Bungie Magazine Ad

In this months EDGE magazine there's a full page advertisement for job opening's at Bungie Studio's, I believe that these openings have been available for quite awhile now so i would think that Bungie is really trying hard to hire some people.

Thought that it was rather cool, so i snapped a few pics

I think it would be fun to apply, but I realize 2 things: I'm an AMATURE texture creater and my only portfolio I have is in the form of modded bungie maps

. I really don't think that would go over very well with them.

Honestly, I have not. Was he a former Halo Modder? I really don't keep up to date with that sort of thing. I think it would be fun to actually get paid to texture things and the like, but I'm okay with just skinning.

He works in a separate building from Bungie, and for Hired Gun. Not Bungie Studios.

Well, From what I've heard the H2EK is a bit restricted. Also a bitch to work with. Don't get your hopes up.

They've also posted an article on the bnet frontpage about recruitment and such, maybe they are still looking for new people, which is worrying considering H3 ships in around 4 months time and they have no confirmed projects after it... I think.

Yes, he was one of the earlier Halo PC modders who attracted the attention of Bungie, or something, and now he works for them(oh, and by the way, the only reason he is working with Hired Gun and not Bungie itself is because they are the ones working on Halo 2 Vista, not Bungie, and NiTrOuSoXiDe modded the PC version of Halo.)
