this normally happens when things in the game are set to be something..and that something is impossible. like setting the pistol to level 6 zoom when there IS NO 6X ZOOM! omg i redid my map 17 different ways trying to figure that out! lol!

does anyone have a .tif a grass and would be will be willing to share it? a grass .tif didn't come with HEK so if anyone has it, could you send it to me over email or AIM?

Probably every texture you need is already on youre computer dude. Go into youre halo ce folder. Then the data folder. From there, go into levels. Then just explore the different levels and their bitmaps. I found the grass under haloce\data\levels\a30\bitmaps.

it should be there for you too.

You can either extract the grass texture from halo and convert it to a tif, or you can simply watch's kirks tutorial on maing the ground texture and it shows how to tell halo where you want grass by painting.

thanx dude, i looked thru all the directories but i couldn't find the grass, guess i skipped the campaign levels

Open up bloodgulch in HMT and look under bimaps. You find it, it's called detail_grass
