DO NOT STOP
Let us never forget and let us never stop modding Halo1 on PC, it is overall too great to lose.

Mind helping me out? http://www.notebooks4free.com/default.aspx?r=778384
92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are part of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature.

I CAN TYPE IN ALL CAPS TOO!{SMT}iguana wrote:HALO PC MODDING IS GETTING BORING ONCE HALO 2 VISTA IS OUT HALO PC WILL BE A MEMORY OF THE PAST!
If we go by your logic that people will immediately jump ship from halo1 to halo2, why didn't everyone just jump to custom edition when it came out? There'll still be people modding nearly every facet of halo as long as there are people playing it.

WTH IS WITH PEOPLE DISSING VISTA... just because windows had a donwfall with windows 2000 they upgraded their whole system...and macs have their problems too...no computer is perfect. Vista has many versions...the home basic is for people who dont use their computers for much. Vista premium is what i have and it doesnt suck. Just look at the back of the software it tells you what it comes with...ImaBeast wrote:I am all for HPC cuz i dont want to ruin my computer with VISTA
---And if you think Vista is bad cause its from Windows...why buy an XP if you dont want a computer with what you think "crappy" software???

ok here's my opinion on the operating system thing. it depends on what you use your computer for.
if you really know what you're doing on a computer and you want tons of options, use linux, then windows, and if you like things that look pretty and are easy to use, but don't have as many options use a mac. i come from a family of software engineers and we have 11+ computers in our house alone, running different operating systems. they all have their own traits and moments so don't dis any of them.

The amount of flexibility offered to me to make a full working map in HCE is great. every time i open one of the tools i discover something new and exciting. IMO you can make your own customized FPS. Take Day of Defeat for example. everything can be changed and created with this awesome game. Although it does have some limitations. I can only hope another H.E.K. is released for H2V. till then i'll just enjoy HCE.
