Well Ive given C4D a break and have been messing around with Adobe Illustrator . I have been working on this vector on and off for about 2 days. This is my first full vector that I'm determined to finish. I really want to practice and get better when it comes to shading, transparency, curves, color, etc. I know it has alot of dirty paths and doesn't have much detail but its a wip. Its going to be a while before this is finished because I still have to do the face and faces have always been my trouble spot. Btw the hair is a bitch.
She*, and obviously. I'm saying that unless he completely destroys what he has now, there isn't much to do with it. He also said that was 2 days work, which I find hard to believe.

She? I didnt know mike was a common name for females and by 2 days I dont mean the whole 2 days I go to work and school.

I think SHOUT was saying that the vector, who is a female, isn't completed.
It's a good start...looking forward to the finished piece.
He* as in mike, not the woman. In the past two days, how much time have you spent on it? For being vectored, the fingers look really rough. Other than thats, it seems like a pretty good start. Keep going, practice makes perfect.

Well the first night was about an hour and today im going on 2. I didnt take all that time to make what you see now. I created and deleted alot of paths and layers experimenting. And yea the fingers do like weird but Im starting from top to bottom.
The fingers are also extremely jagged. My fingers are really weird looking and they're not even that jagged. And yes, for some reason I thought Darco was talking about the piece, my bad. The clothes look alright, and the eyes are pretty good, but there's nothing to say about the other stuff.
Heres the original(im not going to use the same colors) And yea its still a wip thats why the fingers look weird, it was a quick outline. Probably should have put that in my description cause everywhere i posted this people thought the final would look like that.
And about the bad quality I dont know if I have to change a setting or maybe a make it a different file type to like png.
I realize that the absence is in the real picture, too, and I'm not trying to be a perv, but I'd add some cleavage (just a tid bit) to help make it stand out that the shirt is a v-cut.
(Once again, I'm going for detail, not perversion)
While I don't agree with Shout that it couldn't go somewhere, I do think you posted it too soon to give a proper opinion on it. Yes, right now it is rather boring, but I can't tell whether you're skilled enough to make it good or not.

"You know what I'd like to be? I mean if I had my goddamn choice, I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all." or should I?
