Halo 3 Theory maybe?
This theory is pertaining to the beginning of halo 3. Im sorry if i havent noticed that this theory has been thought of. Enough with my talk then.
You remember Rtas saying in the Great Journey: "Then Im going to take the cruiser back" ? Well, In halo 3, lets say he has. Now there is a way for the arbiter to get off delta halo and get to earth, because he has supposedly learned the location of the ark.
The game could begin with you as the arbiter, on the ship, going through the regular tutorials that the chief did in games 1 and 2 except the elite will guide you through it. This also gives the chief the final battle.
Discuss if you will.

Personally I don't see it happening.
The reasoning given for the training was the new armor systems, the Arbiter armor has been the same for all the Arbiters, and it probably wouldn't change for this one.
Plus, everyone would be pissed if Bungie did that, and Bungie doesn't like angering the fans.

[theory] Anyway, I'm a little behind, but in Ghosts of Onyx, the Arbiter has a ship, along with a whole battlesquad or whatever, so I assume he (and the other covenant, and probably Johnson and Miranda) will use those to get to the prophets/brutes and royally eff them up. [/theory]

I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.

John was given the run-down when he came out of cryo, to reorient, and then when he got new armor, because it was new.sangheili123 wrote:it doesnt mean that the arbiter would have new armor. The tut is more like a basic run down of what you can do. Also, the MC so far doesnt seem to have extra stuff, and how can he have a tut lvl when hes on the forerunner ship? Unless they skip the whole sequence -.-
Nobody says there has to be a training guide. Players can set their own damn joysticks. =x
Also, there's no reason to believe Arbiter would start the game. That's just a random guess without any real factual basis.

Also incredibly bad and unbalanced. It would be a terrible move for Halo multiplayer. Elites were a bad choice to begin with, I'd be amazed if they can rectify them, let alone add more bipds and still keep it fair.GM_Battleman021 wrote:Good theroy, Most likely it may happen; however i was hoping to be able to be a grunt or a jakel in mp without modding.. so u could like be a grunt in mm.. that would be so funny..

If you read my post with the theory, it simply states that the arbitor is in the position for the tutorial. Of course, this is without skipping any important master chief on the forerunner ship. Sounds like you're biased towards elites. Bungie.net said they are reworking the elites so that they're balanced with spartans.
It should've been known for a while that elites are not in the beta, because they just aren't ready. Any other races besides spartans or elites in MP is a terrible idea. I agree with you on that.
