As well as my post about skinning i have 2 other problems.
No matter what i do weather never works. Snow, fag, rain you name it. Ive tried using hex editing and changing structure sbsp and it nevrer works.
Also im having trouble with human turrets. Ive dupilicated a warthog and turned it into a turret. When im in sparkedit i import the tag. And then put the turrets where i want. But in game they never appear!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

For te warthog turrets, to get them ingame you have to change them to a scenery object, (since halo has only 6 types of vehicles allowed to appear on the map, all the regular ones) then import them in in sparkedit as a scenery object, it will still work normally. With the weather thing hex editing will work, since i hex edited snow into sidewinder. just search for some tutorials in tutorials section.

ill make it snow in sidewinder, using the rain tag from level b40 as the example.
open the map you want to export the desired effect from (b40) in HHK and open the rain tag.
highlight snow levels\b40 F0B00F39
then go to tools and hit recursively export references and meta.
it will then ask you a folder to save to, create one (name it whatever you want) and save the information to it.
close the map you just exported from (b40) and open the map you want to import to (sidewinder) with HHK.
go up to tools and hit import recursive....
when the screen pops up asking what file to open, go to the folder you created earlier (the one you saved the recursive to) and open that. then go to the folder named levels and open that, then (b40), and open the file named snow.rain.
then hit rebuild map, and save.
close HHK and open HMT
load the map you just rebuilt (sidewinder) and bring up the d swapper (apple+d)
highlight sbsp in the first window
then levels\test\(sidewinder)\(sidewinder) in the second window
then find the rain tag in the third window. when you do it should be nulled out, change it to whatever the rain tag you imported is, in this case rain levels\(b40)\ snow.
hit save offsets and quit.
once again this is obviously for mac, but anything that is being done with the meta or rebuilding the map can be done the same on pc. if this still doesnt help ill explain it using pc tools( i just copied and pasted a tut i wrote a while back)
to make fog use the hmt plugin or hex it. the adresses are not the same between pc and mac so youll have to find it yourself.

are you running a good gfx card?
or does yours completely suck, because if it sucks, you wont see fog, snow, etc. you might wanna try turning decals on too in the regular halo settings
