Something I'll be working on. {UPDATE}

Post by noscottno »

This is a new 'genre' I'll be starting on. Yes, I've stopped space scenes and sigs (hehe 4 a day a month or two ago). Anyways, here's a digital painting I've started. The lines are for guides, and I'm REALLY trying to get some depth in this.

Stuff I still have to do:

Make more buildings
Detail the buildings
Improve atmosphere
Improve Lighting
Texture.

Image

Also, I don't have a tablet yet, so I'm making do with what I have

I'll be updating ever so often.

Yes, because tablets are the cure-all magical wands which instantly give people the ability and talent to draw even if they lack the ability to do it IRL.

No, because I like being able to make complicated shapes without the dealing with the pen tool, which takes a long time. It also makes shading easier, and the ability to add in fine detail, which is pretty hard on a mouse.

By all means, keep the lines in the background. They look pretty cool on the pink and purple.

As much as I hate to say it, I kind of agree with SHOUT.. Can you keep working on it and perfect it, make it look very nice, or will it just be another in the collection of files ready to hit the recycling bin.

I wish you the best of luck.

That one!

I went for a different view but meh, there's still a lot of work to be done.

As for Shout and Detox, I'm going to try and get this a perfect as possible.

I agree, I'll be awaiting the pleasant surprise you get when you open up the tablet early on July 18th and realize that you can't draw the Mona Lisa.

Good luck with this, spend a lot of time please.

Extremely confusing and aesthetically unpleasing.

Yeah, I don't really think the stocks of cities are working.. I also liked pink better.

*edit: Never mind on the city stocks, but that large block in the background definitely should be taken out.
