I dislike all the new games. Too many to keep track of.
I've been sticking with Silver for as long as I can remember.

It's really cool looking. I've seen it in action, it's like a top -> down angled viewpoint that looks really interesting because it seems like it zooms toward you when it gets to the bottom, because of the perspective.

I think Silver/Gold were the best ones yet. I think I got almost all of them in Silver.

Red versions are always the best. Gold was better than silver. Diamond is better than Pearl. I ordered a Black DS lite on Amazon min ago

Wow, I remember when i got Pokemon Blue for my original Gameboy, that was pretty sweet, but I agree with the people saying the old ones are the best, 151 is way better than over 500. It took me long enough to catch all 151 lol

I'm thinking about picking up pokemon diamond. I've played the originals and loved them. Never loved the show though, or the cards.

The origonals were the only good ones. The rest are lame, and the same, just with new little gimmicks. But, I grew out of my Pokemon phase long ago, so I'm not hurt about it.

Ah, 9th grade, on my SP. My sister just got it, and played for the kicks. I think it was the blue one, or the red, I don't rmember which. But I remember how crisp it sounded, and how great it looked.

*shrug* I disliked ruby/saphire.... didn't bother with fire red/leaf green.... decided to pick up Pearl and I don't regret it.

EDIT: for those of you who are complaining about too many pokemon... try out Fire Red/Leaf Green.... apparently they only have the orriginal 151

If all goes well I'll be getting Diamond or Pearl tomorrow. Im guessing most people dont like pokemon because it isnt the "cool" thing anymore, like I ever cared about that. I can totally see why people dont like the series though. The Games have always been good to me, mainlythe RPGs fro the gameboy. There are so many different ways you could goabout beating the game. The designs of the creatures are cool. Im betting another reason people may not like it is because the show is so kiddy as well as some of the merchandise, therefor making the games look Kiddy too. In truth, the games are so different besides having some of the same basic mechanics.
Pokemon is like Halo, sure any kid can pick it up and kill the AI, but they'd get owned by more experienced players unless they cheated. Actually little kids do end up sucking even against the AI controlled characters in pokemon.

Then there is also the whole "EV" aspect of the game which is like MLG for pokemon. Check this out if you dont know what I am talking about:

Its a certain way of raising pokemon, that can make a big difference against someone who doesnt "EV Train".

and you dont need a gameshark to max stats out for y/b/r
you just need to talk to the old man in veridian who shows
you how to catch a pokemon,then fly to cinnibar island and
surf the coast,and you will get a missingno. pokemon and
your sixth item to 129 times(it replaces the first number
with a picture meaning over 100)
and what type of missingno. you get depends on every 2
and last letter of your name,for instance,my name is yomama!
so i get a normal missingno. pokemon that is over level 100
but has the stats of a level 20,a level 80 ~~~ M. ~ pokemon that
evolves into a working kangaskahn that can fly after one battle,
and a cooltrainer that has 6 uber hard missingno. pokemon of diff.
types to battle.

BTW,trace had his pokemon pear and DS stolen by the
janitor or teacher 2 days ago...
