A couple of new pieces

Well, this is my first post in months. I've been busy with various projects and social outings, but I managed to make a few more pieces in the past few months. I know some will get bashed for being emo, but w/e.

Valentines day piece. It's based off of the same style I used for my older emo-ish pieces. Tried to keep this one simple and made more use of black than my others.

This started as a terragen piece, and then slowly evolved into a more asian styled picture. The flowers on the left are supposed to be blurred out and not as defined, because the birds should be the focal point. Should being the operative word in that sentence...

Red Side of Suicide

Based off of a poem, this was a commissioned piece. I didn't know exactly where I was going with it when I was making it, and I sorta got pulled back and forth between trying to do two different styles. I guess the final result is alright, and I don't know how I'd improve it without redoing it.

I'm not a photographer, so I don't know what constitutes good photographs from bad photographs, but here you go.

Also, here's a site I developed from scratch. I cooked up the template in Fireworks and then coded it in Dreamweaver.

I like Serenity, but those flowers look.... bad.

The first one reminds me of Atreyu's version of Shot Through the Heart. They had the potential to be really nice, but the Red Side of Suicide was easily the best. You have a very artistic mind, but I think you need to learn to put more mind into play; if you know what I mean. Let's do a collaboration.

They didn't turn out quite as nice as I'd hoped, but were supposed to be blurred, sorta a depth field thing.

Which is a valid point. I think I'll make something a bit happier in the future. Or Halo related. We'll see.
