Okay, this is a WIP, by the way.
Basically I'm vectoring a sequence of images taken from the video for Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution, particularly starting at 2:22.
From the parts I took out, two of the soldiers are on the ground already and so they aren't noticable. The copy I'm working with is insanely low quality, which is nice because it gives some challenge to it. Also the colors are all messed up so I get to do that part myself which should be fun. This is what I have so far:

The skin color (or actually glove color) is going to change. So far I've vectored most of the main parts of the first soldier, the important parts of the second (standing) soldier, silhouettes, the poles (I think they need more detail though), and barbed wire. The background looks hideous =(. Clouds and waterfalls are two things I just can't seem to get down. So that should change. I'm getting a lot better at this the more I do it. I managed to do all that in about a cumulative hour this weekend.

Ignoring the gloves again, I think the colors on the soldiers might be too bright.

i really like it!

i've been working on a vector piece myself (first one) any suggestions? i already know the pic i started with is too low quality, i can't distinguish between my shoes, or any details on them and that's bugging me...

anyways, it's going real well.

It's sloppy, it's just not as round or clean as it should be. I think the highlight is way too bright too.

I made some minor changes to my wallpaper sized one, so this one's ~300 pixels shorter:

I like the hands more, but I still need to get them just the way I want.
