Question about H2 core
I would like to know how long it takes any of you to rebuild a map in H2 Core because I can never finish rebuilding a map because I'll wait for like 12 hours and the computer almost completely stops responding.

how much memeory does your graphics card have because I think one of my problems is that my gpu uses my ram along with its own memory?
And the main problem is definantly the fact that this computer is about 5 years old
AMD Althon XP 3000+ @2.17GHz
512mb RAM___(eMachines says 512 but system properties says 448mb)
512KB L2 cache
334MHz FSB
GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU
Memory: 64mb
just to give more info I increased the virual memory to 2500mb
also just to throw this in does h2 core copy sound files correctly

I guess I know something on how to build a fast computer. I was planning on getting a Pentium D for my first pc build and I have purchessed a 256mb ATI graphics card for it already. hmm, maybe I should clean this room insted of trying to keep this pc going so my mom will order the Pentium Dkibito87 wrote:>5 minutes.

If you're wanting to build a fast machine, I'd go with an ATI Radeon x1650 Pro. Dual-DVi (Supports separate resolutions on each monitor), HD output, 512mb RAM, PCI-E, and it usually runs around or under $200. Actually, from a company called GeCube, you can get the 1650 with splitters to allow up to 4 monitors.
In terms of processors, go with an AMD Athlon dual-core. They're relatively fair-priced, and since ASUS makes both AMD and ATI products, they will cooperate quite well with one another.

You're running 4gig? I envy you... I wish I could afford that.

To anyone thinking about a new pc, i strongly recommend building your own, u can save like 3-400$ assembling it urself, and its not as hard as one would think. Especially with all the help available around the 'net. I think theres a book from the 'dummies' series that will also assist u.

All I need is a Pentuim D and I should be able to start up my new pc without a problem. Maybe I should get another 512mb of memory for this pc along with a pentium d for my new one
