^ reminds me of sneaking through forests with a butterfly knife in Far cry instincts.
The lighting and bump on that rock looks uber.

I'd have to say its looks like, to me atleast, that they had converted timberland to halo2.. with updated textures also. </Theory>

Or just that they used the texture. That doesn't mean they converted the map at all.

I pity the fool that is so lousy at skinning that they have to steal textures, especially ones that small. They can take it, but their skin won't be worth downloading. The texture its self isn't bad, but the size in that picture sure is lousy.

Also warlord is right...Staff seem to be good at enforcing the "no posting Halo 2 textures" rule, but not for themselves...
This collaboration is not endorsed by Halomods
Technically its only me animating though

OK, I'd like to see it happen from that image. When it does, I will bite my words. Until then, shutup ;p

my point still stands the staff are quick to enforce the rules when it suits THEM but when they ignore the rules everyone looks away and turns a blind eye to it all....

I posted the pictures above to get back on topic. No more talk about the texture posted above. It has NOTHING to do with Halo Photography.

I generally like your posts Snave, but that was a really immature way of handling it. His point is that if he posted that, staff would've taken it down - all he's asking for is fair treatment for everyone on the forum.

Yay for Chad for 1. actually posting halo 2 photography, and 2. for ending this pointless argument.

I usually dont post comments on pictures posted here, but chad that second pic of the mc looking at the ship, is hands down the best cinematic shot I've seen and if you could please take a Hi-res so I could set it as my desktop background, once again that is a wonderful image.
