Yes.
Not all of the weapon but the main stuff ( model, bitmaps, shaders )
I guess bungie had some Multiplayer Fun with the old Halo 1 weapons on this map.

When the maps will be downloadable for free, yes we will be able to use it legaly for ours mods

and for those who havent found out yet the gun is in fact a peice of scenary, im about to check to see if it is actually in the map now

edit: yep there it is in the scnr....now for sbsp

edit 2: theres a room with boxs in it behind a grate, the pistol is in there between the boxes
