Inputting custom vehicles into a custom map

Post by SkyCaptain »

Alright, so I made a map in Sapien and downlaoded a couple of cool tags from halomaps.org such as the hover tank and the lamborghini. I was a following a tutorial so I'm sure I did all the settings right. I placed down the vehicles in the map (I was able to see them and they made sound and looked normal, so obviously they were inported into Sapien correctly) So I do all the stuff in too after I saved the map and it becomes a map file. I open up Halo and load the map. The map works fine but for some reason, all the custom vehicles were not there, but the normal ones, like the ghost and the banshee were. I checked the spawn boxes in Sapien, so it is not a spawn problem, and everything I did with the official vehicles, I did with the custom ones, so I don't understand what happened. Thanks

You have to replace them for the old vehicles in globals.globals.
Sig over height, width, and file size limits.

I'm a little new to this whole modding thing. Could you just tell me briefly how I would go about doing this. Is this some kind of tag i have to edit in Guerilla. And replacing old vehicles... that sounds like something that would mess up my Halo.
Thanks

Well you have to open up globals\globals.globals in guerilla, and scroll down to vehicles, and replace whichever vehicles you want with your new vehicles. Of course this means you will have those new vehicles instead of the default vehicles that you replaced. If you want your old vehicles as well as your new vehicles, then you'll have to do a little bit of easy scripting. Here's a tut-http://halopc.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=369[url]
