to the observant... you can't mistake a ruger for a luger.

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D

So un1337, beware my advice.

Wow, the Cafe might be improving, but I can't say much for this section. Christ, if you're going to backtalk someone about guns make sure you at least know the first damn thing about them before doing so. Just because Wolfenstein has it, doesn't mean it's real, genius. Halo has aliens, they must be real too! Why, I found an Elite hiding in my closet just the other day! And since when does a Luger have a scope, either? Point out a scope on that model, let alone a real, unmodified Luger, and I'll send you my entire life savings. I'm serious.

As for the model, it's messy but I guess it's decent for a PC remodel. At least it looks kind of like one.

Leiukemia, you do realize that HPC re-modeling is a little difficult? So of course everything isn't going to look as great as something that can be done in CE, or something that is done and tagged into PC.

The model itself looks alright, I don't get why people are getting all bitchy about the silencer... big deal it's not accurate to real life, get over it, christ....
Although, I must admit the guy who said it's accurate because it's like this in Wolfenstein made me laugh pretty good.

Um, I fully understand the diffuculties of pc remodelling. But that doesn't make it anymore accurate, and I'm telling him so. Making excuses isn't go to improve his skills now is it? No, not at all. Keep trying for the best, and you'll get good results. Lean back on excuses, and you'll just get half-a$$ed stuff. And actually, we are breaking no rules in our pointing out of the silencer. From a modelling and gun freak point of view, yes it is a bit of a deal. Beleive me, I'm telling you now, you're not helping this guy in anyway by defending poorly made objects.

Did you seriously just say that to Leiukemia? Look at his sig, man, he made those, and more.
Your sig can't exceed 500x120 and 75kb in file size.

*sigh* Even if I didn't have every ability to make a much better, more accurate model, it wouldn't matter. Movie critics don't make movies. But in this case, I do model, on a more advanced level, and I know what I'm fricken talking about. So please, please, gtfo.

longer ^_^

ok, first off, remodeling is incredibly simple. it just takes patiences to decipher the model a bit.

second,

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h320/ ... ktop-1.jpg there's your better model

and third, enough of this. we've made the point clear there is no silencer on a luger. let him have his topic back now. stop posting useless crap.

but seriously, remodeling is very simple. just spend more time looking at the models, you'll be surprised with what you can do with them.

1) any revolver that does not have a sealed chamber cannot have a silencer.
2) rifling of the barrel has nothing to do with sound suppression.
3) any weapon that has a sealed chamber can be modified to accept a silencer if it is not manufactured with a threaded barrel. lugers were not produced with threaded barrrel ends. so, no, lugers don't have silencers.
4) if you want to sound like any kind of smart, don't go "oh they haf it in game so it must be real". wolfenstien IS A *** GAME. IT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THE REALITY OF THE WEAPON.
5) don't call someone a noob when you're the one who's clueless.
I think Snaf knows waht hes talking about....
