Which should I present if I were to enter them into a competition?

Modeling is a strong point, but I didn't follow a tutorial to make these, yay!

#2's material looks much more chrome like a real rim...but the reflections on it are very aliased.

#2 looks very good. i would suggest mapping an HDR image to a shpere to use as a background/lightsource, and render with al mental ray settings maxed out. should get you damn close to photorealism.

I can't imagine how many polys that it. :shock: Beautiful, but as GTAF said, the reflections need work.

well total its 50,856 polys for the whole scene. 47,600 for the rim alone. I'm gonna re-render with some blur on the enviroment map and see if that helps.

I think he means GTAF, as in GametagAeonFlux.

I know that this is bump, but why make a new thread, I'd like to announce that Render B won 1st Place in a state competition for middle school. I am very proud to have a award winning art work :D
