i was going to buy it but after thinking about it....its a waste of 70 dollars IMO. In the long run it just looks good. Special features don't interest me so much in Video Games. I reserved the legendary one...but the people at gamestop were nice enough to put me on the 60 dollar version. Helmet looks cool in all...but that and some dvd's don't rly interest me. Unless it comes with exclusive maps i might get it but other than that..no legendary for me. Maybe limited edition...

Exclusive maps would be a terrible idea. However, there is exclusive dashboard themes/gamer pics/other simple stuff

Lost Planet isn't Halo. Bungie doesn't want to force people to buy the Legendary. Requiring them to have exclusive maps to play the MM playlists would be doing just that.

as GametagAeonFlux said lost planet did it and thats what gave me the idea...and gamer pics and themes wouldn't really want me to go the extra 70 dollars.

I realize that, I was just providing an example...other games have dealt with exclusive maps and being "left out" so to speak. I think Call of Duty 2 or 3 has an option to look for all games, ones with the new maps, or only old maps...plus, going by Bungie's past, I'm sure the map would eventually be released and/or made free.
