i dont really see the point in making a medal for destroying a vehicle, i bet you its for seting off a mine or killing someone with a mine

too many edits: i think the 5 spoked wheel is actually the trip mine because if you watch the vid it almost looks like a star 5:52 for whoever wants to look at it

My speculations:

Special status kill. (Kill as VIP, etc.)
Obviously Territories related.
New gametype status gained. (Juggernaut, etc.)
New gametype status gained. (VIP, etc.)
Spartan Laser kill.
A counter-board?

One thing you have to take into account, is Bungie actually kept their design schemes consistant from Halo 2 to Halo 3, as exemplified in the Territories taken medal.

I also doubt there is a Trip mine medal.
In the video, he kills two guys with the Trip mine, but he only gets a Double kill medal.

yeah ill have to agree with you. that is the do not enter sign it was in halo 2 as well, but i have never gotten it in a game, or that i was aware of.

Edit: look at this, the medal and this gametype have the same star so i think it might be safe to say that the medal is for that gametype

Just putting this out there...
In this part of the ViDoc here, you see the red player shoot/kill the blue player in the back.
Now by the obvious Shotgun sound you think it's just the Shotgun but if you look closer it really doesn't look the human Shotgun.. In my opinion at least.

If you'll notice the front of the Halo 3 Shotgun is elongated as you can kind of see here.
A while back I heard speculation about a Covie Shotgun.. mb mb?

Also what do you guy's think of this pose when your flying through the air...
Looks kinda weird to me :/

i think it looks like that because i heard it could hold up to 32 people. this is obviously just a rumor but it might explain why every time you see people fighting its always an all-out brawl!

Bungie (and every game developer) has access to dev consoles. Those black 360's in the background are dev machines.
Did you also notice the HDD attachment area? That too is a dev piece of equipment, although I cannot even speculate what it could be/does.

I quite like the new jumping pose. :p

Edit: Maca, I think the video picks up sound of a little skirmish that is happening off-camera that happens at the same time the guy gets hit in the back.
I too heard the noise, but it really looks like he's getting smacked in the back, and not shot. Any smart Halo player would smack you in that position; not shoot.

Maybe you can only hold one of one type of equipment...
