Skinning warthog turret

Skinning warthog turret

When I skin the warthog's turret it comes out with the skin on it but, the turret still looks green. How do I fix this?

You dont under stand me. I did internalize it, but when I load the game the metals green with only the white part of the skin showing (not giving out much more info on it so I can keep it a secret).
