Emo is a fashion, everything beyond that is their own problem.

You said "emo kids", which means the kids are emo. The kids can't be a fashion :?, so i'm guessing you're using emo to describe their personality. I could care less how a person dresses (unless it involves no clothes, shame on you )

To the point though, what IS the point of MySpace anyway? To make "friends"?

Are you kidding me? You couldn't have seriously thought I was calling them a fashion...

Ugh, ok so now I have to explain it. Emo is a fashion, people look at kids who are emo (NO I'm not saying they are a fashion, I'm saying they are following a fashion, should I talk slower? Or is this fine?). Now, it is a common misconception between ignorant people that all emo kids are depressed and cut themselves. I find this to be highly untrue, as all the emo kids I know do not cut them selfs and are not depressed, they just listen to emo music, and follow the fashion behind the emo music, as gothic music has the goth fashion, rap has the gangster fashion, etc.

If you need further explanation, too bad. I'm done being a tutor today.

Whatever you say :) I didn't say you called THEM a fashion, I was saying since that would be stupid to, you must have been refering to their personalities. You cannot possibly think I thought you were calling them a fashion.

Source? People have MANY different facial expressions in nearly every picture, because it is almost physically impossible to realign the muscles atom by atom to match a picture taken on a separate instance. And if you're referring to just the general pose of a face, most famously, Blue Steel, that's up to the user's discretion whether or not to make that face, they don't have to, saying that everyone makes that face in every picture is ludicrous. I also don't understand how this is a 'flaw' of myspace.
NSN711 wrote:-People become absolutly whores about it (omg havn't checked in five minutes!)
You listed this under myspace's flaws, but how exactly is people checking their site myspace's problem/flaw? Shouldn't that be considered a measure of success for myspace? It is the individuals 'problem' at that point.
NSN711 wrote:-I know a kid who actually asked for a comment because he didn't get one that day.
Do you have any clue weather or not this kid was joking or not? (mocking the "whores")
NSN711 wrote:-People (typically preteen girls) are begining to dominate it.
How exactly are they "dominating" myspace? The way the system works doesn't allow for one user to impose themselves onto someone else's profile, therefor disallowing someone to "dominate" anyone else. If you mean by getting a large amount of comments/views, that doesn't fit in at all with the term "domination".

I like myspace because I can talk with people who don't have messenger accounts, or I just dont know them, and its like an visual email, because you can send it at any time of the day, regardless if the person is online or not, unlike several messengers. (Yahoo's function is far too weak in comparison.) Also, there are several people whom I dislike talking to on messengers due to the high amount of interactivity required with that person to engage in a conversation, it's almost real time, where I'd much prefer to just send the person a short statement which isn't expected to be answered to; no obligation.

Also, it enables me to share my music efficiently and effectively.

ahhh, myspace. I see how almost all of you hate it, though some peoples hate for it is ridiculus. I have a myspace for the following reasons

-Time filler
-Communtication with friends
-To practice creating layouts and photoshop backgrounds
-Memorize tags (HTML)
-I am slightly addicted too it, to I usally screw up and leave it open, which leaves me logged in.

I only have a Myspace because my friends kept bothering me to make one, I go on it like once or twice a week. It's not a horrible site, but it's just not that important to me.

People who think all Emo's cut themselves, are idiots. You do realise that if they all cut themselves, there would be none left? And if you say well they cut their wrists but don't die, they haven't cut their wrists then have they.

It would be like saying all gangsters shoot themselves in the head... just no.

I like MySpace, I only got it to keep in touch with this girl I met in America, and don't say IM... as Time zones make it difficult to keep in touch when you're asleep.

I have a myspace. Im not ashamed of it, infact, I have no idea why the majority of halomods hates it.

Also, you don't have to be Emo to cut yourself >_>
I could be considered Emo for my clothes, But there's no Personality to a Fashion.

No, EMO means an overly emotional person, all the people who wear black clothes and nail polish are either gay, bis, or goths, which I have no problem with, except when they call them selves EMO. You don

Unless, of course you are talking about Ravn and his cat.

I don't mind MySpace, and I think it's a cool place. But, I do think it has grown to be known as something beyond what it is.

"Many people" use MySpace because they don't know HTML.
