Can't system link Halo 2...

Post by Bigern1990 »

I have been trying to system link between two modded xboxs the past few nights and it hasnt been working out. If i host it on Xbox A, Xbox B wont load and will be stuck at the Setting up Game screen. If i host it on Xbox B, Xbox A will be stuck on the setting up game screen. They both have the game set to the E partition and are both under the games folder, then Halo 2 folder just incase of folder issues. I was also trying to use Yelo and used developers mode and disabled the auto update...they both work. I have absolutely no idea why they cant system link. Can someone help me?

p.s.- ya both maps have been resigned for each xbox.

Maybe it's something wrong with the map. Are you using a clean one?

they had a previous mod on them could that have actually caused the problem? I just used the same map though and put it on both xboxs. I did resign them.

Why not use a clean map from your purchased copy of Halo 2? That will solve any "dirty map" problems...

I'd double-check your connection between the two Xboxes.

Is there anyway to check the connection between the two? Is there an application that i could download or something? Or would i just be able to use XBMC?
