is this what the x button theory thread has been up to? lol.
ive been doing some serious thinking about this and it really has me stumped. Ive spent countless hours pondering the different possiblilities that could be "activated" in order to gain an advantage. Because in the quote " we owned them so hard we didnt have to activate our X buttons"(i know its not word for word but its the general gist of it) what could possibly give you an advantage instantly by pressing a button? I dont know but i have a hunch that it is the fourth grenade slot shown in the halo 3 brute doc analysis.
Way to find the video
1) gamevideos.com
2) search halo 3
3) 3rd page
4) named "halo 'brute doc' analysis
5) time in vid: 4:34
oh my bad, i clicked semi colon instead of period. damn my ignorant self. activate goes along with starting something. like, you can activate your cell phone by doing something. but you don't activate it every time you want to call somebody.

fine then why cant he just PM me the pictures? look i just want to see what the "new" hud looks like so that i may get a better chance at guessing the X button functionality.

Looking at the new HUD won't give you any hints as to what the famous X button will do. I don't even get why people are so excited to know what it does, it's not a big deal...
Also 1nevitablEnd, why is it so hard to believe what Tural is saying? I mean for god sakes, the game was still being developed when they took those, there is always plenty of room for changes.
How else would they work it into gameplay? It would be horribly unbalanced as a standard grenade type, and Bungie said that the assets were all from the game.
