Beautiful piece though, keep it up. I don't really have any criticisms, it's quite stunning.

i dont like how the whole picture is very low quality. it kills it all for me :'(
the concept is stunning though.

I suppose I agree, to an extent. Like the Jackals in the rain one, think there's too much Photoshop use... dunno how to explain it.

All renders were transfered to PS via uncompressed .png.

there are jpeg marks and halos all around the picture. if there were none of this, i'd like it, but seeing as there are jpeg marks on the picture, it ruins it for me.
EDIT: the cliff walls also seem to be from a real picture; my reason of belief is because the cliff wall texture is over-sharpened. how can i tell this? there are sharpen squares everywhere, which distracts from the real beauty of the rendered scene.

i think thats from post production. and the cliff i think was done in max, but im not positive about that.

I'm pretty flattered my cliffs are photo-realistic (to you)

Also, the terminology you're looking for is artifacts. If you would be so kind as to point out the artifacts, it'd be much appreciated.
