WHOA BUSY

I like it alot, except for text placement. It's kind of too obvious, and just doesn't look that good. Is it done free hand?

Yeah. It looks like you used a round brush with dodge strokes and free-hand wrote FL on his left breastplate. But, mabye that's just some crazy-ass text.

To elaborate on the background; the left side kinda looks like a bullet is flying through the air, and on the right side of the chief it looks like a ripple as if the bullet has hit a wall and you're seeing the air ripple in slow motion. Well, that's what I think of when I see that. Most other people will probably just see that busy and odd background and think "Ew, ugly." Look at it a little longer.
