that stroke around everything could be changed. maybe make it thinner, or get rid of it completly. remove the border around the speakers. it looks horrible, and very aliased.

other than that, it looks pretty nice so far.

You want aliased when doing this sort of layout. I'll consider the other suggestions.

k. maybe add some drop shadows then to give it more depth. it'll help with the glossiness.

I don't love the background image or the text character spacing. The rest is very nifty though.

I like the layout, but I'd change the layout colors. It'd look better with a natural look on the wooden floors and a different background.
