Halo 3 mod

Hey guys,

I saw [this mod] which has a brute spiker and a spike nade... and it made me think, "Wouldn't it be sweet to have a mod to make Halo 2 look like Halo 3?Even if it was just the Halo 3 weapons, I still think it would look pretty damn awesome (for those of us not in the beta =P) People in the beta could help by taking screenshots and stuff.

Also... if we do this, we should do Valhalla. I'm sure we could make the man-cannon using something like the lift on Colossus. =D

So, anyone else interested? :)

Sure, im in. Sounds like a CMT for halo 2 may happen soon. I can do weapon effects! And some skins? :wink:

Whatever happened to that? It has been a couple months scince any news on it.. i hope they plan to realease it soon cause it looks so sweet

If you still need help, I'm a novice, but I still learn fast and know my way around Halo and Halo 2. I can help with textures, skinning, and balancing the gameplay. I know how to do some other stuff (so I can guide those new to modding), but DirectX isn't supported by my video card. :?

I would love to create a Halo 3 campaign, too. The elites already have the ability to use two swords. You just have to set them to dual-wield. This allows for some more strategy in close to mid range combat by combining the sword with a pistol or SMG. Just my thoughts, but I did try it out on my own campaign levels.
I play on XLink Kai as FJGamer. (FJ is my Halo 2 profile.) I have a mic, and I love to play 8 on 8 mics versus no mics. I also love to mod Halo 2. For some reason Halo 1 won't work on system link, though.

I'm interested, PM or something, I'm working on a similar project on Zanzibar and I'm still getting there... It's in Pre-Alpha (Yeah.. lol)
