I just bought Halo for PC and........

I was wondering if I can mod this version also, it has a flamethrower in it, a fuel rod gun or something, and a warthog that shoots missles, i don't want to be flamed if this is the version that is already out but, will it work with the mods?

Yea, you can mod it...All versions of Halo PC have the flamethrower and fuel rod...

yes, it will work with mods, and a couple of good mods to start with are the AOTCR map and Halo 2 skins. Just be sure that if u are just starting, u will need the PPF-omatic to apply patches.
