I know I'm saying this in the wrong place... But, I am so sick of console wars.
I could give a flying fuck what console is better; less what little idiotic fanboys think about them. The school I go to is focused on technology, so there are a lot of gamers there, so I never hear the end of what they think what console is better. You don't know what it's like to go through every day hearing "NO TEH WEEE IS BETTUR! EMG NO TEH PS3 IS BETTER OMGONGSONYPWN! NO TEH 360 IS BETTR IT R HAVE BETTR GRAFIX AND STUFFZ! OMG BILLGATES NEEDS TO DIE K?!" It's getting to the point where I can hardly refrain from standing up, knocking their desk over and crushing their throat with my foot so they can't breath, more importantly talk.

It is a FUCKING game system! Get. The. Fuck. Over. It! It's probably the LAMEST excuse I've ever heard of for trying to get into an argument with someone about. Why can't they argue about something normal? Why? Why can't they argue about which car has a better engine? Or which jet could win in a dogfight (undesirable as well, but it beats game systems)? Why must they pick a subject that makes me twitch in the most violent anger possible? They pick to argue about something that is on my very small things that make me mad.
The gamers at my school, are probably the heaviest gamers I have seen, and will ever see in the rest of my life. The subject of the day, and every day is games. They have absolutely no lives at all. Hell, just the other day a gamer I know was talking, and he was like "I'd even choose games over girls." And my GF (she knows him too) was like "What the hell?", and he was like "Oh come on you know you'd choose Guitar Hero over Chris.".
(Chris, being me).

So yeah, it's the kids at my school that pushed me away from games. With their daily arguments about which game is better, which game system is better, who kicked who's ass on XBL or the LAN party they had 5 months ago, etc. You know, and there is some points of time when I'm sitting at my desk angrily listening to their shenanigans, where I wish I could rid the earth of every video game (just to put into perspective of how much the gamers at my school irritate me).

So yeah.

hehe, the first real scenario where gaming induces violence...But its not even through playing games...Its with hearing gamers talk about it all the time...

I must say, it applies to everything though, not just gaming...It happens at thee forums, like the IE vs Firefox and Apple vs Mac... People love their side and think the other is worse and feel it is their responsibility to tell the world how wrong they are...
I've caused some in the past for fun and to see if I could annoy people but I understand what you mean...Like goto cnet.com or joystiq or whatever, engadget, digg and whenever a thing about Apple, windows, ps3, wii, iphone, ipod, xbox 360, firefox, IE, zune, anything mp3 player that is white comes up, there are about 40,000 arguements on how one product is better than the other...

Its amusing to me though, that people will go that far yet also quite scary

Yeah, I did when I dropped video games. However, it doesn't help that a lot of the school's population still plays games, so I can still hear them.

I have a solution to your problem. Stop being a NAZl. They have every right to talk about it. If it annoys you, then that's too damn bad. If you'd rather go somewhere that freedoms such as discussing personal preferances is outlawed, then please, feel free to. You're not a cop, and you're not the government. There's nothing you can do about it, get over it.

You obviously have no idea what it's like to hear about games 24/7 (almost literally). I am damn serious, they do NOT stop talking about it. When I did hang out with them, I tried changing the conversation, and they did talk about something else for 3 minutes, and went back to games.
Regardless of what it is, no human can listen to the same thing every minute of every day.

You know how jokes get old? You know how when you hear the old joke more than you need to you get irritated? I'm going to assume you have been exposed to this and say that it was the same thing with games. They were fun until they were becoming a part of every minute of my life. They got old, and now the irritate me.

I just found it similiar to an oppressionist mindset. And yes, I do know what you're talking about with it getting really annoying. I have that in my animation class all the time. I just think it's not worth losing sleep over.

And concerning the whole mission routine:
Suits. (White shirt, tie. Since it's hotter than hell, no jacket is needed for about 80% of the time.)
Bikes everywhere. (Some missions allow the use of cars, but that's for large mission areas. We'll ride our bikes everywhere.)
Tiny, tiny, tiny apartment where we get twin size beds. (I'll probably sleep on the floor. >_>)

My parents are getting all this stuff ready because I won't use it for two years, and there's no need to have three cars when two people are home.
It's funny though. I've gotten so used to Cup-of-Noodles's. I love those things!

Oh, on the note of cup noodles, I highly suggest you do NOT experiment with the odd flavors supplied by Maruchan. (Which Ironicly Translates out to "Round Child", or "Circular Child" ) The Alfredo, Cheese, and anything Dairy based, WILL make you shit your pants and make you regret eating them in the first place for the next few days until the effect wears off. Stick to the traditional Beef, Chicken, Shrimp.

Top Ramen won't hurt either, Takes almost nothing to make.
