How would I make a boost and lift for warthog?

Post by eyelevel »

I want to make a warthog that when I click the left mouse button it turbos/boosts for a few seconds and when I click the right mouse button the warthog rises up into the air for a few seconds. Is there a way to do this?

edit: OK, we'll lemme ask this. Has anyone at all ever made a warthog with a speed boost? I seem to remember a map with one in it a looooooong time ago, but not really sure. :?

Same question... I'm trying to make a boost for a warthog. I followed the instructions for the ghost boost (creating a new .effect and .damage_effect) but I get a warthog that does a backflip when I hit "crouch".

Any hints? I'm currently using the "engine" as a marker. I'm guessing that I have to use a marker defined in the gbx model?

Well, there is a way to make it do a wheely but it does it forever. It was something about float points in HMT.

go to the old cogulation without protection, take the hog out, look at the wheel markers.. they work for wheelys if you have 2 at the same time.. you could always have all of them for it to float (I copyed the marker locations to another hog, and made a pimp hog lol)

for boost, try 2 markers, one by the driver and passanger, one at the back by the turret (just off the back) the back one will push it, the front one will stop it from flipping on ground O.o (I havnt tryed this one)
Wow.. I havnt updated any of my stuff here since like 2 years ago.. lol
